Valentines Day at Barnes Lodge
The most important thing in life is to be loved and cared about, and children have such a pure and positive sense of compassion which is why our community link with Barnes Lodge is one I feel incredibly privileged that we have been able to establish and develop over the last year.
Being able to watch the children’s and resident’s relationships grow into something so special and the impact it has had on all involved from young to old, children to residents, care staff to school staff and parents is truly magical.
To find a child’s hand in yours is one of the most moving things that can happen to you, so being able to watch this tenderness during our visits to Barnes Lodge is incredibly special and something more schools should seek to establish.
