The Junk Orchestra February 2018
Building on the popularity of our music wall we arranged for the Junk Orchestra to come in and work with the children in school. This musical workshop involved the children playing a set of recycled instruments and composing various rhythms and soundscapes to reflect different settings for stories around the world. The workshop developed the children’s enthusiasm for playing untuned instruments created from a range of junk resources and provided the children with new musical skills which they could use on our own music wall.
