Our School Day

We are pleased to be able to offer our parents full wrap around care for their children, from 7:30 am to 6:30pm.

We operate Breakfast Club each day, which starts at 7:30 am.  

A walking bus departs from Barnes Lodge, Tudeley Lane every day at 8:30am.

All other children and parents arrive at school from 8:45am where they are welcomed into the school, there is always a member of staff on the gates. Gates close at 8.55am.

The children have a morning break from 10:30am to 10:45am where they have access to a health fruit snack. Water is available all day.  

Early Years children finish the morning at 11.45am, Key Stage 1 finish the morning  at 12:00 pm, for Key Stage 2 it is 12:15 pm. The school afternoon starts at 12:45pm, 12:00pm and 13:15pm respectively.

The end of the school day is at 3:15pm. The playground gates are opened just prior to this, EY and KS1 parents need to go to their children's classroom door to wait for their dismissal. KS2 parents need to go to the doors on the pathway to KS2 playground and wait for their dismissal. All gates are locked at 3.30pm. We ask that parents / carers clear the school and do not allow their children to use the learning/ play equipment whilst waiting for their child to be dismissed.

Enrichment Clubs are run from 3:30pm - 4:30pm and these consist of a range of activities such as: Multi Sports, Les Puces French club, computing, football, netball, art, gardening and sewing clubs.

From 4:30pm - 6:30pm each day Newton Lang run wraparound care. The children are provided with a high tea and enjoy playing games with their peers, in a relaxed environment.
