Deputy Headteacher

The main purpose of this role is to support the Headteacher in providing strong leadership and management of the school and to provide a secure foundation from which high standards in all areas of the school’s work can be achieved. If the Headteacher is absent, the Deputy Headteacher will deputise, as directed by the Trust. The Deputy Headteacher will also be expected to fulfil the professional responsibilities of a Headteacher, as set out in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD).

Classroom Teacher - maternity cover, Mon - Weds
Salary: M1 - M6
Start Date: 27 October 2025

This is a part time position for three days a week: Monday - Wednesday, starting Monday 27th October.

Early Years Teacher with EY phase leadership - full time, maternity cover
Salary: M1 - M6 with TLR for phase leadership

Breakfast Club Supervisor
Pay: £16 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.15am - 8.45am
Start Date: 6th October 2025 or as soon as possible
This is a fixed term contract to 2nd April 2026.

Job Description
Bishop Chavasse CE Primary School is looking to appoint an energetic, caring and flexible member of staff as a Breakfast Club supervisor.
The successful candidate will be expected to supervise, support and guide the children during our popular Breakfast Club. This will involve time in the hall supervising the children. Although previous experience would be preferable, it is not considered essential as full training and induction will be given. The ability to communicate effectively with children and the ability to ensure their well-being and maintain their safety is essential.
