Breakfast Club, Before and After-School Clubs
At Bishop Chavasse Primary School we know how important it is to cater for the working family, whilst providing outstanding enrichment opportunities for your children. We provide full wrap around care during the school term.
Before School clubs
Timetable for Terms 1 and 2 from 1st September 2026:

Early Breakfast Club
Early Breakfast Club runs from 7:30am to 8:45am every day. We are committed to ensuring that all children enjoy a healthy breakfast, provided by Nourish. Providing children with a good start to the day helps children focus on their learning and aids their concentration during morning lessons. During this session the children enjoy spending a social time together, playing games, drawing and talking with their friends.
- Breakfast Club is open from 7:30am: children may arrive at any time up until 8:10am.
- The children enjoy breakfast consisting of cereal, toast with jam or butter, fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice and a different hot option every day. Breakfast is served until 8:00am.
- The cost of attending Breakfast Club from 1st September 2026 is £4.70 and must be booked on Arbor in advance.
- Children may attend Breakfast Club every day, a range of days or just one day a week.
- Breakfast Club is available from the first day of the school year for all pupils, including Early Years children.

- Children attending sports practice or choir will be collected from Breakfast Club to go to their groups.
Late Breakfast Club
Our Late Breakfast Club operates from 8.20-8.30am from 1st September 2026: children will be dropped off at the turning circle to join the children in Early Breakfast Club. The cost will be £1.20 per session – also bookable on Arbor up to a long term in advance or the night before, if there is availability.
After-school clubs 15:30 - 16:30
After-school clubs are a wonderful enrichment opportunity for your children and provide a short extension to the school day until 16:30. The enrichment clubs are run by our fabulous team of Teaching Assistants, all well-known to our children, or external club providers, and they cover an incredible range of interests.
Enrichment clubs are allocated on parental request through Arbor or direct with the club provider. Parents and children need to commit to a full term. Absences are still charged. We can try to place children in clubs if there are any spaces on a last minute basis.

Our Art & Creativity Club provides children with a fun, inspiring space to explore their creativity while developing confidence and artistic skills. Each session is inspired by contemporary artists, art history, nature, culture, and a variety of exciting themes. Children will experiment with painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, collage, and animation through guided, process-based activities that encourage imagination and individual expression.
Rather than focusing solely on the finished artwork, we celebrate the creative process, giving children the freedom to explore ideas, make their own creative choices, and develop their unique artistic style with guidance and encouragement throughout. Through these sessions, children build valuable skills including creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, curiosity, resilience, and self-confidence.
Please note: Children attending the club must be able to follow instructions independently. This club is not suitable for children who require constant one-to-one support at school, as sessions follow the format of an art class with guided creative activities.
