Noticeboard
Week Commencing 5th October
Please send your child in with their favourite book to share. This can be brought in on any day during the week. We will aim to read all the books over the course of the week. Please make sure that all books are clearly named.
Mud Kitchen
As you may have noticed when dropping off or collecting your children, we are continuing to develop our learning environment. As part of this, we have recently created a new mud kitchen area with several compost-filled tyres that are ready for some planting.
We would love your help in developing this area further. We would like the tyres to contain hardy herbs that the children can use in their imaginative play creations.
We are inviting families to add a herb plant (or two!) to their shopping list and plant them with their child when collecting them from school next week. This can be done during normal collection times on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and we can also accommodate this after Early Years Club on Monday and Thursday. Please sign up here: EYFS Planting – Fill in form. On the day you would like to plant, we suggest you collect your older siblings first and bring the plant(s) with you.
If these times are not convenient but you would still like to contribute with your child, please let us know and we will be happy to arrange an alternative time. Equally, please let us know if this isn't possible and we will make sure that your child is still able to take part with a member of our team.
Herb plants we would like:
- Mint
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Sage
Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing our herb garden grow!
