School Council

School Council
As the children are now settled into school we will be setting up a School Council in order to further develop our school and to give our children another channel for having their opinions and ideas heard. Each class will have two representatives who are elected every year.

All children are encouraged to apply to represent their class at the school council. The children who wish to stand for election will present their reason for wishing to represent their class to their peers. Two members of each class will then be elected by their classmates.

At the first meeting of the year the important roles and jobs are selected and Mrs Hall will support to conduct the meetings.

The class representatives will tell the children in their classes what has been discussed at each meeting and the children can ask the representatives to take forward their ideas to the next meeting.

Pupil voice is important to us and a School Council is a great way to ensure that everybody gets a fair say in the meeting and nobody gets left out.
