At Bishop Chavasse School we believe that it is important that Christian and British values are included in everything that we do in our school and in the conversations which we have with each other every day.

For this reason, our class names are linked to the Christian Values: hope, patience, honesty, forgiveness, consideration, perseverance, compassion, humility, determination, resilience and the British Values: tolerance, democracy, liberty and rule of law (honesty and forgiveness) At Bishop Chavasse School we believe that it is important that Christian and British values are included in everything that we do in our school and in the conversations which we have with each other every day.

Having class names which represent these values means that these values are truly part of us and our school community, whilst also providing a fantastic vehicle for discussions around the importance of developing each of these habits in ourselves; resulting in the embedding of the Christian and British Values. Each term a different class will lead an act of worship based on their class value. They will look at what that value means to them, how they show that value both at school and at home and how we can help others to celebrate the value.
