We hope that you all well and staying safe with your families. During these unprecedented and challenging times, we are all having to get used to different ways of doing things at the moment - and schooling and learning is just one of those. ‘Remote learning’ is something that we will all be developing and getting better at whilst school remains closed.
The school and your teacher's email address are a great way to remain in contact with us and these will act a bit like a virtual classroom, so it would be lovely to hear from you all. Of course you can ask us questions about the work you are doing, and we’ll do our best to help you, but it would be lovely just to hear what you’re up to and how you’re keeping yourselves busy!
Our remote learning pages for your child(ren) will be updated on a daily basis and will provide the learning we wish your child(ren) to complete on a daily basis.
All learning should be completed in your child's home learning book unless your child is instructed otherwise, for example, if they are asked to produce a Powerpoint.
Please take a photo of your child(rens) English, Maths and Science learning and email this over on a daily basis to your child's teacher for marking.
In addition to your child's year group learning, we will be adding daily video clips which all of the children may access. These clips will be:
Mrs Weeks' Daily Challenge
Daily Maths Challenge with Mr Fenton
Story Time with Mrs Weeks
Collective Worship with Mrs Nicholls
We hope that you enjoy them.
It has been wonderful receiving videos and photos of how your children have risen to the Happy Challenges they have been set. Please continue to send in emails of your child's learning and achievements.
This week Reuben has shared his favourite joke with us:
Why did the queen go to the dentist?
To get her tooth crowned!
Saskia and Owen have become Juggling experts, Alani, Oscar and Amelia carefully copied the Lord's Prayer and Isabelle created a beautiful piece of art work which made both her mum and I smile.
