Each House Group supports a different charity. By working together to organise fundraising events and promoting them, a sense of community is fostered and it helps develop empathy and compassion in our pupils. We believe these are life skills, embedded in our school values of compassion, honesty and wisdom, that our pupils will be able to draw on in the future as they become responsible members of the community.
Supporting charities can provide students with opportunities to learn about different issues and causes locally, nationally and internationally and how our pupils can make a positive impact on others: students become courageous advocates for others and learn how they can make a difference and contribute to a greater good.
This year’s chosen charities are:
Toilet Twinning - Chartwell
Make a Wish - Knole
