Our spelling initiative aims to strengthen our students' spelling skills by aligning their in-class learning with their practice at home. Every week during our GPS lessons, we will introduce the children to a specific spelling rule. This rule will be closely linked to the spellings they are practising at home. To monitor our students' progress and provide them with an engaging opportunity to demonstrate their learning, we will implement a spelling quiz each week. At the end of the term, we will do a spelling quiz which will consist of 20 words that have been practised throughout the term. The words may be selected from any of the columns covered during our spelling lessons.
